Reason #40

Jonny is multifaceted and multitalented. He can be poetic. He has written the following previously unpublished poems.


Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Bananas are yellow,
Unless you leave them for too long, in which case they are black.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Greenfly are green,
But white people aren't really white
And black people aren't really black,
So let's just live in peace
And look after our plants by spraying them with greenfly repellent.

Roses are blue,
Violets are red,
Or at least they were
Before those environmentalists trashed my laboratory.

Roses are green,
Violets are yellow,
And this has something to do with why all the other kids tease me when we have to do paintings at school and my grass ends up being red,
even though it looks green to me.

Roses are black,
Violets are black,
My hair is black
And so are my fingernails.
